Telangana Government Begins Distribution of 11700 Two-Bedroom Houses in GHMC

Asaduddin Owaisi and state home minister Mahmood Ali officially opened the 2BHK Dignity Housing Colony (820 flats) at Farooq Nagar.

The distribution of 11700 two-bedroom houses in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) began on Saturday.

As part of the first phase of the Dignity Double Bedroom Colony lottery, the houses will be distributed in 24 Assembly Constituencies across 9 locations inside GHMC borders.

The state administration ensured that 500 beneficiaries were chosen from each constituency throughout the beneficiary selection procedure.

3500 2BHK beneficiaries in Kollur, 2664 in Quthbullapur

There are 3500 2BHK beneficiaries in Kollur and 2664 in Quthbullapur.
Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao handed out double-bedroom home certificates to 3,500 beneficiaries in Kollur on Saturday.
Harish Rao reminded the lucky recipients to take careful care of their new homes and expressed gratitude to chief minister KCR for keeping his promise.

On the other side, the state animal husbandry minister handed over 2664 2BHK Dignity Homes built at a cost of Rs 227.79 crores in the Quthbullapur suburbs of Bahadurpally, Gajularamaram, and D-Pochampally.

Each House Costs between Rs 50 and 60 lakhs to Build

Talasani stated after the distribution that chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has formulated a housing project for the poor and needy to live in dignity.

Out of the 1700 dwellings distributed today, 144 recipients are from Gajularamaram, 356 from Bahadurpally, 500 each from Sanathnagar and Kukatpally, and 200 from Secunderabad Cantonment regions.

The houses were allotted in complete transparency, using a random drawing of lots.

The minister went on to say that each house cost between Rs 50 and 60 lakhs to build, while each acre in the colonies cost between Rs 8 and 10 crores.

820 Houses Distributed in Farooq Nagar

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi and State Home Minister Mahmood Ali officially opened the 2BHK Dignity Housing Colony in Farooq Nagar, which has 820 Flats.

The parliamentary constituency is part of the Bahadurpura Assembly Segment, which was built at a cost of Rs 69.70 crore.

500 2BHKs Given in Uppal

The beneficiaries received 500 2BHK Dignity houses from Hyderabad Mayor Vijayalakshmi and Deputy Mayor Srilatha at Sai Nagar Colony in Uppal.

During the distribution, a woman approached Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi and asked for a 2BHK house for her family.

The preparations for the distribution of the remaining double-bedroom residences are likewise complete.
