Usain Bolt’s record is broken by Noah Lyles, and Femke Bol runs the third-best 400-meter hurdles ever in London.

In a 200-meter race that was permitted by the wind, Noah Lyles broke his tie with Usain Bolt for the most times he breached the 20-second mark.

In winning in 19.47, the 10th-best time in history, in a Diamond League meet in London on Sunday, Lyles—the third-fastest man in history at the distance—did it for the 35th time.

By three hundredths of a point, he beat Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo. Tebogo, 20, broke the African record held by Frankie Fredericks of Namibia when he finished second to Michael Johnson at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
One month after shattering the 30-year-old British 100-meter record, Zharnel Hughes finished third in 19.73, shattering a record that had stood for 29 years.

American champion Yared Nuguse edged out Norwegian Gilje Nordas by only 14 hundredths to win the 1500m in 3:30.44. After Leo Manzano at the same competition in 2011, Nuguse, the third-fastest man in the world this year, became the second American to win a Diamond League 1500m.

Olympic gold medallist Hansle Parchment of Jamaica finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in 13.26, while two-time world champion Grant Holloway won the event in 13.01. Rasheed Broadbell, a Jamaican who ran the fastest time in the globe this year (12.94), wasn’t in the field.
In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Jackline Chepkoech, a 19-year-old Kenyan, set a new world record for female speed. She won in 8:57.35, beating off unrelated Beatrice Chepkoech’s world record time by 6.99 seconds.

JuVaughn Harrison of America defeated Mutaz Barshim of Qatar, the Olympic and world high jump champion, for the third time in a row by clearing 2.35 metres.

Ryan Crouser, an Olympic, world, and world record holder, won the shot put with a throw of 23.06 metres, placing him among the top nine throwers in the world this year.

  1. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be
actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I am looking forward for your next post, I will
try to get the hang of it!
