Telangana Assembly Election 2023

With the Election Commission of India (ECI) announcing dates for assembly elections in five states, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is preparing to launch his election campaign with a series of key events, beginning with a meeting with the party’s MLA candidates on October 15 (Sunday) at Telangana Bhavan.

In addition to giving B-Forms to party candidates, he will reveal the party manifesto for the next elections, which will outline the party’s vision and pledges to Telangana residents.

KCR poll rallies

KCR will also direct party candidates on poll techniques and provide insight into the rules and regulations that must be followed during the election process. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister will travel to Telangana for a four-day whirlwind visit of several constituencies from October 15 to October 18.

On October 16, he will speak at public meetings in Jangaon and Bhuvanagiri, on October 17, in Siddipet and Sircilla, and on October 18, in Jadcherla and Medchal.

KCR to file nominations on November 9

On November 9 (Thursday), Telangana CM and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President KCR will file nominations for the November 30 Assembly elections. On the same day, KCR will file nominations for two Assembly seats, Gajwel and Kamareddy.

He would perform a special puja at the Konayapalli Venkateswara Swami Temple in Siddipet before registering his nominations. After filing nominations, KCR will address a public meeting in the Kamareddy assembly constituency at 3:00 p.m.

The Election Commission announced elections to the Telengana Assembly, as well as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram, on Monday.On December 3, all five states will be counted.

According to the CMO, KCR will meet with party candidates on October 15 at Telangana Bhawan and would present B forms to BRS candidates at the meeting. During this meeting, he will also clarify various election rules and regulations, as well as provide candidates with specific instructions.

On the same day, he will present the party manifesto and address a massive public rally in the Husanabad Assembly constituency at 4:00 p.m. On October 16, the BRS Chief will visit a public gathering in Jangaon and Bhongir assembly constituencies, and on October 17, he will attend public meetings in Siddipet and Sircilla.

On October 18, KCR will attend public meetings in the Jadcharia and Medchal constituencies at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., respectively.

In the 2019 assembly election in Telangana, the BJP, the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and the Congress will compete in a triangular struggle.

Telangana 2018 results

In the last Assembly election in 2018, BRS won 88 seats out of 119 and received 47.4 percent of the vote. Congress came in second place with 19 seats. It received 28.7 percent of the vote.
